In 2008, she played Yasim Anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca played roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well the Romanian film Boogie. Later, she had a major role in 2014's Fury where she played Irma her German Aunt of Emma.
